2013 BIENNIAL SYMPOSIUM
The program will focus on three main themes:

• latest requirements for bioanalytical method validation,
• cutting edge utilization of pharmacokinetics
• improving veterinary drug labels

Additional topics include a discussion on veterinary-related activities at US Pharmacopeia, a follow-up from the AAVPT teaching workshop, as well as the usual student posters/oral presentations and AAVPT awards. The symposium will once again feature a general poster session for presenting the latest in veterinary pharmacology research.

AAVPT/CVM JOINT WORKSHOP - ANIMAL DRUGS IN FEEDS
In addition to our biennial symposium AAVPT is pleased to announce we will be co-sponsoring a CVM workshop titled "Animal Drugs in Feeds". This meeting will immediately follow the symposium and will cover regulatory requirements for approval of veterinary drugs in feeds.

BOLGER CONFERENCE CENTER IN POTOMAC, MD.

The program committee has arranged for these two meeting to be hosted at the Bolger Conference Center which is in Potomac, MD. Fifteen miles from the White House, the hotel and conference center is close to Reagan National and Dulles International Airports, and Bethesda, Maryland. The Bolger Center's campus style setting creates an inviting retreat for the meetings.˜ We have held several meetings at this location and know the center will exceed your expectation for a symposium venue. We have contracted with Bolger to provide an all-inclusive lodging and meal package for our attendees. The hotel provides a campus-like environment with beautiful garden views, complimentary parking and complimentary WiFi.˜ For breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Bolger Center offers Osgood's, a buffet style restaurant, and for nightly entertainment, the Pony Express Bar & Grill. In addition to all your meals being provided at the center we will have our own private wine and cheese and banquet events as part of our symposium.

We hope to see you there.

Organizing Committee: Sanja Modric, Carol Davis, Ralph Claxton, Lesley Rausch-Derra, Michele Sharkey, Ronette Gehring, Chantal Lainesse, Virginia Fajt, Jay Donecker and Anthony Lucas.
